I am Savannah Black and have been writing for over 20 years. Writing has saved my life in more than one way. It now saves my sanity. It gives me an avenue to express explore and share some of the many adventures I have had in life. I have gone out of my way to experience life to the fullest and have achieved that goal. Growing up in the mountains we made a lot of our own toys or just used out imagination. I read everything I could get my hands on. I wanted to be a writer since I was 12.
Publishing has been an experience both when I had a publisher and now that I am self published. I have learned a lot of does and don’ts and I hope to pass some of that knowledge I so wish I had had at my disposal on to others who want to get published.

* * * *
Rose is happy with her job and her life in Cincinnati, Ohio until her grandmother gives her that old typewriter. She tells her the history of it and of the murder of her sister and brother-in-law, so many years before. The machine fascinates her as it greets her with the scent of roses in a garden, not rose water or a perfume, but roses in the early morning, with dew clinging to the petals and leaves. Drawn to the mansion by a force she cannot understand, she quits her job, loads her meager belongings and the typewriter into her car and starts on a collision course with Ghosts, Romance and Voodoo.
